What We Do

The student center is responsible for growing our students' academic, career, and social potential. We use a guidance curriculum to serve all students in grades 6-12. We work with students individually, in small groups, in classrooms, and on the grade-wide level. We help students with academic planning, with the college search and application process, and in the application for scholarships and financial aid. We help students investigate career paths and build skills that will serve them in the 21st century workforce. We help students through difficult social and emotional situations and teach them skills that they can use to thrive in the present and the future. We use school and student data to focus our services on where they are needed most. And we reach out to parents, teachers, and community members to ensure that our students have access to an integrated support network.
