Financial Aid Forms
There are two forms that will probably be very important to you if you are applying for financial aid. These two forms are the FAFSA and the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a form that students and their families must fill out in order to receive financial aid from the federal government. Colleges use information from the FAFSA to make financial aid decisions as well. The FAFSA is how the federal government and your college determine how much money your family can afford to pay for your college education. Click the button above to learn more about the FAFSA.
The CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE is a form used by many colleges and universities across the country to make further decisions regarding your financial aid award. Nearly 400 colleges use this form in their financial aid decisions, so you should check with your college's financial aid office to see if they use it as well. You may be asked to complete this form along with the FAFSA. Click the button above to learn more about the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE.
