CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE
The CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE is a form used by many colleges and universities across the country to make further decisions regarding your financial aid award. Nearly 400 colleges use this form in their financial aid decisions, so you should check with your college's financial aid office to see if they use it as well. You may be asked to complete this form along with the FAFSA.
When Is It Filed?
Each college has its own deadline for submission of the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE. You will need to check with your financial aid office to see when your college's deadline is. The CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE forms will be available from the College Board beginning in October.
What Will I Need to Do?
The College Board offers detailed instructions for completing the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE online. You can download those instructions from their website or by clicking here. You will need many of the same tax forms necessary to complete the FAFSA.
