ILEARN
The ILEARN is a test given by the state of Indiana that measures student achievement in English/language arts, math, science, and social studies. The ILEARN reports student achievement levels according to the Indiana Academic Standards that were adopted by the Indiana State Board of Education. The test uses a combination of applied skills assessments (short essay and fill in the blank) and multiple choice assessments. All Indiana students in grades 3-8 must take the ILEARN each year. All grades take the English/language arts and math portions, while grade 6 also take a science assessment. The ILEARN is given in the spring.
